It’s the most common question I receive pretty much every time I explain about my skin “illness”.

What I mean by “illness”?

Those who know me, are aware that I suffered from eczema (this is what I call “illness”) and still do, but not as crazy as I used to.

How I managed to control this? - Answer is very simple, I started to care what foods I eat and products I use.

This time I won’t get too much into my diet side (an idea for my next blog post?) but I would love to share with you all , well some of the products I have been using lately to improve my skins condition. I will talk about face products in this blog - for those who are curious: photo below, on the left is the one where my eczema back in May 2015 isn't as bad (oh yes it can get even worst this one , as I like to call this one was ''one of my good day's with eczema') when my face looked like ''lizards skin'' I wasn't able to apply anything apart from what doctors had prescribed (steroid creams and moisturizers) on the right is the recent photo May 2018 (for those wondering I am wearing makeup, and no none of the photos are edited. Why I am sharing this? - because I do know there is other people with the same or even worst conditions out there!

Let's not get carried away;

I recently discovered “Bioderma” brand cosmetics, well I mean I have seen and heard of it before but was very sceptical on trying this brand out (maybe because similar products from different brands left me disappointed and I just didn’t want to waste my money, I mean who would do that?), but one day I decided that if I won’t try I won’t know, and even if I’d loose at least I will know!?

My very first purchase was “Bioderma” Sensibio H2O make-up removing micelle solution. Having an extremely sensitive, dry skin can make your research on makeup removing products quite difficult, most of the time I would end up with a rash or my skin would sting after cleansing my skin with the products that states to be suitable for a sensitive skin! But not this time!! To be on the safe side and not to waste my money, just in case the product didn’t work for me, I purchased my self a smaller (100ml) bottle.

I tried this cleanser in my night routine, by removing my makeup and very first impression once I pored some product on to a cotton pad was quite pleasant, as there wasn’t any perfumy smell, I was even more surprised when I started gently removing the makeup with it, my skin didn’t get red or itchy, it didn’t sting, even my eye makeup came of so easily.

Ever since then I been using it and I have repurchased the full size (250ml) product today, as I have run out of it already (100ml - lasted me a month, I used it twice a day, evening and morning).

But this is not the only product I would like to share my opinion on, keep reading on and you will find out why I have invested in “Bioderma” Hydrabio serum too.

Lately you must of heard that serums are a “thing”?

Well that “thing” is something you should definitely invest in!

You must be asking -Why?

Well, serums usually contain hyaluronic acid (retains skins moisture) and they prepare your skin, what I Mean? - Serums help to absorb your normal moisturizer into a deeper layers of your skin.

And this serum is not an exception. I apply it on a daily bases, and I have to admit even my makeup goes on more smoothly after using the serum. I have also noticed that my skin has more elasticity, it became more “bouncy” and “fresh” too!

I purchased this serum (40ml) at the same time as the Sensibo H2O and it is not empty yet (applying twice a day), and I still have about half of it left.

So my overall experience with “Bioderma” has been excellent - if you haven’t guessed it yet?

I am actually curious on trying out more of the products from this brand!

Hope you enjoyed this blog post.

Kisses,

Cherry
