I'd rather die, then live with your condition...

I used to hear that a lot. People seem to not understand that having a skin or any other health related conditions sometimes it requires us to change our daily habits. It can be anything, but that something makes such a difference to our health. For example I can't eat anything dairy, lactose, wheat, gluten, yeast related, so straight away when I mention that, people make jokes such as: "YOU MUST BE LIVING ON AIR" or "I'D RATHER DIE THEN BE IN YOUR SHOES" or "OMG YOU MUST BE EATING ONLY SALADS" ...... there's many more phrases but I don't think this post will be enough to write it all in. So my answer to those who "assume" and are so quick to "judge" that I can't live the life to the fullest: You are wrong by any means, because I'll still go out and have ice cream, I'll still order a pizza or a burger, because I am human and yes I know I say that I can't have these things, but I didn't say I will die from it, it just simple means that for those 10 minutes of eating these foods I'll have a break out on my skin later on, it's not the end of the world, right?!? I mean I don't do this every day, because I know how bad this is for my skin, and I know that my skin condition will effect my own mood, so yes on the daily bases I chose as some of you might call it "plain" foods but you know how happy this makes me at the end of the day? Knowing that my skin will be thankful for my choices, and how cheerful I'll be for the rest of the time! I love seeing my skin with that "happy glow". Moral of the story: don't assume that people with allergies or any other "health" problems can't enjoy life to the fullest, because we can! And yes we will eat cakes, burgers and have milkshakes because we choose it, this won't kill us, so before you do open your mouth and let words such us "I'D RATHER DIE THEN LIVE WITH YOUR CONDITION" out, think is it really necessary? I mean we do know what we have to live with, so don't worry "dying for us" won't take our "problem" away. Kisses, Cherry 🍒
